Mass Storage Mode seemingly not working after Sierra install

Since upgrading to Sierra (yesterday) when I attach my Garmin devices, which previously were detected as mass storage devices, as they should, they no longer do. I plug them in and it's immediately recognized as a charging port, but won't find it as mass storage (which is require for firmware updates etc.).

Anyone see this or have any ideas on how to resolve?
